Gas Call Services was originally formed as a Limited Company by Mike Donnelly in February 1996. Mike had previously served his time with Scottish Gas and had subsequently worked for a major contractor, achieving the position of Regional Manager before leaving to set up his own business.

Within twelve months, Gas Call Services Limited had secured contracts with several small housing associations. The company had also been contracted to carry out central heating installation work on behalf of Scottish Gas.

As the company continued to grow, its reputation for quality, reliability and a fast, efficient service also developed. In 2001, Gas Call Services was successfully assessed for ISO 9001:2000 accreditation. We are presently preparing for assessment for Investors in People and are aiming to have achieved accreditation by the end of 2004.

Gas Call Services Ltd has an ongoing policy of expansion, with larger maintenance and heating installation contracts being successfully undertaken. In 2002 the company's phenomenal growth rate was recognised when Gas Call Services came second in the national Inner City 100 competition, and was the leading Scottish Company in 2003.

Due to our policy of quality service and competitive pricing, our tendering opportunities have significantly increased. The company is financially sound due to re-investing the majority of its profits back into the business and we are well placed to take any opportunities that become available. The company is continuing to grow within its financial and managerial capabilities, always aiming to achieve and maintain the highest possible standards.

The Company has recently moved to new offices in Queenslie Industrial Estate in Glasgow, having outgrown our old premises at Westwood Business Centre and employs over 100 people throughout Scotland and the North of England. Gas Call Services is accepted as one of the top Gas Service and Maintenance Companies throughout Scotland.
